What do I do if I was a victim of identity theft in the past but now need to file an unemployment claim?

You need to submit your contact information using TWC’s UI Fraud portal.

You must upload files to help us verify your identity. We will need the following scanned documents:

• A photo ID (driver license, state ID card or passport)
• Your social security card
• A utility bill with your address

If you have filed a police report, include a copy of that report. You should also include a statement saying you are a victim of ID Theft, and you now need to file a claim for benefits.
